Clear kitchen counter with a mail tray, plant, and a donation bag nearby

Our crews spend a surprising part of every visit moving things off surfaces so they can clean them. The fewer things on the counter, the better the clean.

One surface at a time

Pick the kitchen counter or the dining table and clear it completely. If something does not have a home, that is the real problem to solve.

  • Keep a donation bag in a closet and add to it as you go.
  • Mail goes straight to recycling or one tray, never the counter.
  • If you have not used it since last spring, you probably will not.

    Do your cleaners move things around or just clean what is visible?

    We lift and clean under small items and put them back where they were. We do not organize or put things away unless you ask.
